ALDOT will hold in-person and online public involvement meetings this month for a proposed road widening project in DeKalb County.

The project would construct additional lanes on about two miles of SR-75 in Rainsville north of SR-35. It would transform the corridor into a five-lane highway from Ranch Road to the intersection with Church Avenue and Marshall Road.

Attend in-person

The in-person meeting will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, at the Tom Bevill Enrichment Center 115 Main St. W. Rainsville, AL 35986. The informal, open-house meeting will allow attendees to ask questions and share comments. ALDOT representatives will be on hand to answer questions, but the meeting will not include a formal presentation.
