ADLOT is hosting a public involvement meeting for a proposed roundabout in Eastaboga in Talladega County.

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will host an open-house public involvement meeting to discuss a potential roundabout project at the intersection SR-4 (US-78) and John W Wills Avenue (Mudd Street) in Eastaboga.

Two-mile stretch of I-59/20 is being resurfaced between Fairfield and Hueytown.

An Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) resurfacing project to replace an aging section of I-59/20 near Fairfield began Sunday, Feb. 8.

The project will replace two miles of deteriorating asphalt between the Fairfield Boulevard and Valley Road bridges.

More than 60,000 vehicles pass through that section of interstate daily.
