CSX will close the railroad crossing on SR-117 in the Bass Community of Jackson County from 6 a.m. Saturday, July 20, to the evening of Sunday, July 21.
Message boards and signs will be in place to direct motorists. The detour is US-72 to SR-156 at South Pittsburg, Tenn., to US-41A to SR-56 at Sewanee to SR-117, and vice versa. Please plan considerable additional travel time.
