Temporary 3-Way stop now in effect on SR-69 in Jackson

As the City of Jackson’s ATRIP-II project nears completion, a new traffic pattern is now in place:

  • A temporary 3-way stop has been implemented on State Route 69 at the SR-69 north ramp.
  • This configuration is expected to remain in effect for approximately three months while crews complete widening work on nearby ramps.
  • The work is part of a roadway improvement project funded by ATRIP-II and the Rebuild Alabama Act.

The 3-way stop condition will remain in place for approximately three months while crews complete widening work on the nearby ramps.

Drivers should:

  • Use caution when approaching the area.
  • Observe all posted signage and obey traffic control devices.
  • Watch for workers and expect changing traffic conditions during construction.
