Repairs to damaged asphalt on Interstate 85 south at milepost 21 in Shorter will begin Thursday, Feb. 12, at approximately 7 a.m.
The outside lane will be closed for the safety of the crew. The contractor expects to complete work by the end of the day. The asphalt was damaged during a crash on Jan. 12. The contractor expects to complete work by the end of the day.
Motorists should plan accordingly for delays and use alternate routes if possible. Drivers are advised to be cautious of workers and equipment in the work zone.
