An Alabama Department of Transportation resurfacing project on US-331 in Montgomery County will begin Tuesday, March 19, weather permitting.
The project consists of resurfacing and traffic stripe from south of CR-24 to south of CR-61.

The $3 million project was awarded to Whitaker Contracting Corporation, out of Guntersville, Ala., who had the lowest bid that met the project requirements. The project is expected to be completed by the end of summer 2024.
