There will be more than just vehicles on the auction block at the Alabama Department of Transportation’s absolute public auction this Thursday and Friday, May 2-3. The auction, located at 537 Traffic Operations Drive in Montgomery, begins at 9 a.m., Thursday.
A variety of equipment and vehicles of various makes and models are up for bid. These include trucks, vans, SUVs, farm tractors and heavy construction equipment. Financing will be available to qualified buyers through J.M. Wood Auction.
Off-site items for statewide area offices can be viewed at the area offices on Monday, April 29 and Tuesday, April 30, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Central office miscellaneous items can be viewed Wednesday, May 2, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Thursday, May 3, from 7 a.m. until 8 a.m. on the equipment yard.
Friday, May 3 is drive-thru items only. Drive-thru items can be viewed at the central office equipment yard on Wednesday, May 1 and Thursday, May 2 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Friday, May 3, from 7 a.m. until 9 a.m.
