The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) plans to resurface and place guardrail on a portion of I-20/59 in Greene County from near milepost 33 to near Exit 41 in Eutaw.
The project began with milling operations last week and will continue until late 2025, weather permitting. At least one lane will remain open in each direction throughout the project.
S.T. Bunn Construction Company was awarded the project at $18.61 million.
Motorists should expect possible delays and are encouraged to observe work-zone speed limits.
